Tools and Hardware Reviews of Factory-Reconditioned Bostitch U/RN46-1 3/4-Inch to 1-3/4-Inch Coil Roofing NailerCustomer Review: Like New! Summary: 5 Stars
After buying the reconditioned Bostitch Coil Nailer, I can't think of anything to say that's negative about the "used product". The shipping was quick, product is in great shape, and the price was right. I would recommended to anyone including family and friends.
Customer Review: Nail gun. Summary: 5 Stars
I was so happy with amazon after my recent purchase. The first nail gun I bought was broken so I returned it. Amazon was SO helpful with a quick and painless return. I received my new nail gun the next day and sent the broken one back. They even scheduled UPS to come to my house with a printed mail label for the return. The new nail gun works great and I will always shop with amazon. Thank you so much for making the return process so easy and fixing the problem immediately. I love you amazon!!
Customer Review: Nice nailer Summary: 5 Stars
This turned out to be a very nice nailer, and was in nice slightly used condition with a few cosmetic marks and a bit of nose wear but at a bargain price and the kinks worked out of it. It puts the nails in with the heads flat unlike some others I have owned and used. The depth adjustment is easy to use and works well. It loads easily and is lightweight and powerful. A real bargain. What more could you want? It's as good or better than anything else out there.
Customer Review: OK Summary: 4 Stars
Worked very well. Put on a 20' x 45' garage roof with no failures. It did have a learning curve - tended to double-nail until I got the feel of it.
Customer Review: Okay....here's the scoop on this nailer Summary: 4 Stars
Make sure that you have at least 90 psi at the gun....don't trust the indicator on your compressor, unless it is a high end compressor from Makita, Dewalt, Senco, Porter Cable, and a few others.
Also, make sure that the depth is set no less than 3, preferably 4 or 5. Too low of pressure and the wrong depth setting, the gun will only hiss air out the nose piece.
I finally bought a 'real' compressor, and I haven't had any issues with the 'hissing' with the parameters set correctly on both the gun and the compressor.
Still like my Hitachi NV45AB better, but the Bostitch RN46-1 is a decent nailer.
