This reconditioned Bostitch nail gun worked very well during my whole roofing project. This nail gun was much lighter and easier to handle than the one I was renting prior to this purchase. I purchased this gun to do a roofing job on my camp in Maine. I am doing the roof in sections and finished the dormer first. I put down about a square and a half and had only one jam which was easily fixed. The nailer looked new except for a small amount of scratching on the nose which contact the shingle. No surprise here, shingles are abrasive. This is not the first rebuilt tool I have purchased and will not be the last. Had hoped this would work trouble free, but it didn't. Half way through the job, this gun failed to work correctly. Had to spend an hr or so repairing it. Finally finished the job, but it was frustrating for this gun to not work properly.
