I would have liked a white plastic cover/lens instead of clear. This light has 3 LED 0.6W bulbs & would be too bright as a bedroom night-light (for me) but I use it in the living room so I don't have to turn a room light on if I get up at night. I removed the clear plastic cover (held on by 3 small screws), sanded & painted the inside of the cover, then screwed it back on to tone down the "glare" of each little bulb. The inside of the clear plastic cover is ribbed but the little bulbs are still bright if you look toward the night-light, so I painted the inside of the cover. If you plug it into an outlet that is behind something else, so you don't see the night-light directly, it wouldn't need painting.
It measures 4 1/2 inches tall and 1 3/8 inches wide (if you don't rotate it sideways). It sticks out 1 5/8 inches from the wall when plugged in.
I like the light sensor. When it gets dark, the night-light automatically comes on. When there's light, it automatically turns off.
I like that its energy efficient.
The light rotates at the plug, which I have no use for. You can plug the light in, then turn it sideways to the left or right so it is horizontal to the floor. Someone may need this feature but it seems like a waste of production cost which only adds to the price. Both prongs of the plug are the same size so you can plug it into the top or bottom receptacle of your electric outlet irreguardless of its rotating feature.

I bought three of these. For two, the brightness after several weeks is at best 30-40% of when these were originally plugged in.
This deceptive nature of the product is hugely disappointing.

I purchased this night light expecting it to last for at least a year. It started having problems coming on after about 3 weeks and quite working completely after only 5 weeks. I would not recommend this Feit NL5/LED night light.Customer Review: Does what it promises

Low energy usage (using LEDs).
Low energy usage (goes off during the day).
Adjustable - make it shine into the room, along the wall, or against the wall (for indirect light).

The light never turns off, and the light is so bright to look at that it hurts your eyes. Even though it is bright, it does not light up the room much. It says that it rotates, which is true, but still only points directly out....you can't point the light towards the floor or ceiling, or sise to side, so the what's the point of rotating? I would never buy this again.
