I like this filter and it's a good value. it is very useful at night for doing paperwork in my vehicle without blazing a bright light, keep in mind that most LED's don't produce alot of Red in the spectrum (unless red led's), so it will be dimmer than the unfiltered light.
I subtracted one star only because the anti roll feature is semi-useless in practice since the flats are not the lowest point on the circumference. Since I use it in a car and try (unsuccesfully) to set it down on the dash or on top of folders in the passenger seat this is not an academic criticism. It rolls pretty well. They could have done the anti roll much better.. If not worried about looks you could probably file down the offending round parts that serve no purpose.
