I was in real need of a safe for college next year and after looking around I thought this would be a good buy. It had all the features I was looking for and at a price significantly less then the competition. After reading the buyer reviews about broken and damaged safes I was a little concerned but I decided to go ahead and make the purchase. Two days later the safe arrived and it was in perfect condition. The safe was sent directly by the manufacturer and it was packed very carefully within its box. With the type of packaging they used I don't know how it could have been damaged. I don't know if they changed their shipping methods after reading the earlier reviews but I can assure you that they are doing a great job now. I would highly recommend this safe to anyone.Customer Review: Great Value!

I will first address the packaging issue since it has become the #1 issue regarding this product. My safe arrived quickly, via FedEx, without any damage to the box. Amazon packaged the safe inside it's original manufacturer's box, then packaged it again INSIDE another very sturdy cardboard box. Between the boxes around each corner was densely wrapped foam that was contoured to protect all sides of each corner. Finally, the outside box's corners were reinforced with brown corded tape. Not one ding. Not one dent. My safe arrived in perfect condition. I guess Amazon stepped up to the plate and fixed the shipping issue. With that said, the safe was a great value. I have not operated the safe, as I am giving it as a gift -- but I'm sure the recipient will be pleased!Customer Review: Great buy

This is a great small safe. It is heavy enough that someone can't just grab it and go. I like how the inside door has a key rack and a small paper holder. I would recommend this to anyone needing a fire safe.

I was pleasantly surprised at the space for the $ spent. Would like for it to be heavier though with the ability to bolt down without compromising the features of waterproof and fireproof.

This safe meets my needs which is mainly for fire protection.
The programing was frustrating until I remember a review from steel6 who explained how to program it.
Now it works great.
