Great axe! Chops, splits, just works! Well made! Please notice that amazon has to update the info for this product. This is a very nice little axe. It's bigger than most hatchets,which means you can use it like a real axe. It's incredibly sharp, and doesn't easily dull. Sure, if you're serious about chopping, get somthing bigger. But if you're just looking for somthing to maxe fire wood, or, as I like to say,"make big sticks little sticks", this is the axe for you.
~~I have never expeirenced any handle breakage, so I wouldn't worry about that.~~

Having had experience with other Fiskars outdoor tools, I purchased this and have used it about 2 months splitting small amounts of green hickory for my smoker. The handle is quite comfortable, the edge is sharp and hard, the tool is well balanced. I'd buy another.
