I received this axe today, having received the Fiskars Power Gear Loppers yesterday - wow!!! Cleaning a lot, thinning it out and removing roots is going to be a lot easier.
BTW, I told my wife I had gotten them for her Mother's Day Gift.....of course I was joking, but she's not about me sleeping in the pickup!!!! But Fiskars products are first rate.

Not much one could say about an axe; they've been around for millenia. This one in particular has an easy swing, is well-balanced, and the injection molded handle keeps the axe-head where it needs to be.
I invested in the Fiskars sharpener too, which is easily carried in a pocket; it sharpens this axe up nicely.
overall this is a great product that does what its designed to do and does it well.

This axe is really nice to use. It's really light, but that lets you swing it harder, so it's still very effective. Have had good luck chopping, and even splitting small stuff. Highly recommended.
