Great mailbox that will hold up to anything (except a baseball bat used by neighborhood delinquents). Replaces the same mailbox that I have used for 10+ years. Bought this for my vacation country home and i luv it. The reviews about the "cheapness" are not unfounded but to me the cuteness makes up for it. Too bad however the plows keep knocking all the mailboxes on the road down this winter and i have to use a different one until April when ill put this one back up again until next winter.Customer Review: Cute, flimsy and expensive for quality.

If appearance is more important than sturdiness, then this is the mailbox for you. Very lightweight, thin plastic. Comes with NO mounting hardware. Has four manufacturer stamped holes for screws in the bottom of box. This was a replacement for my parents old one, so I already know it lasts about three years before the sun dries out the plastic and it becomes brittle; the colors fade even quicker. Too expensive for quality in my opinion, but if you're like Mom and appearances outweigh cost, then this is the one for you. I'm very happy with my metal $25 box that came with hardware and will far outlast this one. It just depends on what you want. We are horse people and love the country look. This mailbox holds everything including
newspapers and magazines. It keeps it all nice and dry in the rain. We purchased this one as a backup to the one that we have already had in service for over 8 years.
