Customer Review: Cute but NOT bright enough

I just received my flex neck light and it's super cute and light weight. My main purpose for buying this light is because I wanted a bright light to help me see whenever I read at nights but unfortunately this light isn't as I bright as I was expecting it to be.
If you are someone with poor eyesight then this light wouldn't be ideal for you. My sight is pretty good and the light helps me to see the words in the book but it reflects more like "a candle light" which isn't adequate lighting for reading unless you want to eventually go blind. Hence, I gave it a 3 stars only for it's cuteness, lightweight and flexibility. If anyone know of another brand with a brighter light please recommend. Thanks
