... I just got my second one of those machines. Living in a 2-story loft - about 2000 SF. Placed one downstairs in the main area and one up-stairs in the main-bathroom. Moisture level before was in the upper 50th = not bad - some sweaty glasses / bottles and morning sweat on Bed and Bathroom windows. It's currently dry season in Houston. But, both set to 45% which I read is perfect for house - and even one machine was getting the moisture level down to 40%, bought the second for the bathroom alone.
Anyway, machines work perfect / as expected. Sure, they are a bit noisy in compressor / freeze / de-humidifing mode - better noise isolation would help (bit like a cheap window AC unit). And, sure they are pumping warm air out in de-hum mode - that's normal too (compressor is working). So, all in all machines are doing their job quite well / as expected. Because they are in different rooms, I switch the one off when I am in that room - no biggy.
They are definably removing moisture from the area - and that's what I wanted them to do.
