It has a lot of functionality for the price and is cold, but I can't believe how loud it is. Maybe all a/c window units are this loud (I've only had central air before), but since it's in my bedroom I wouldn't have purchased it if I knew about the noise. Most of this is due to the fact that "low" isn't that low - you can feel the wind on the "low" setting from 5+ feet away.Customer Review: Love this!

I bought 2 of these last spring because we don't have central air or anything else to keep us cool. They were really worth it. Not only did they keep us cool but they didn't bump up the bills too much. They are really noisy though. It's hard to hear music or tv above it. The one in the bedroom was great though because my husband like to sleep with white noise anyway. Came with a remote control which is nice if you are in bed and need to change anything. But you need to kind of memorize where the buttons are and what they do because it doesn't light up. Kept us really cool, love them.Customer Review: My AC is great!

This is the noisiest air conditioner I have ever bought. Sleeping through it is a miracle so I put it in my recreation room and brought my other air conditioner upstairs in the house. I would not buy again. Frigidaire has some refining to do if it wants repeat customers.
