I wanted an Energy Star-rated ac unit that would help cool my room but not blow up my electrical bill. This unit has done the trick. It's not the quietest ac unit I could have purchased but it's no louder than a fan would be and it cools the room quickly. Plus it has a high energy-efficiency rating. I am very happy with this product. Amazon shipping was just great.
The unit is a little on the loud side , but works great for cooling. I am cooling around 900 sq ft room and it does a very good job. The thermostat is great as it shuts off when it reaches the correct temp you have it set for.

Great air conditioner! Saved our lives...unusual hot and dry summer with almost two straight weeks of 90 - 100 degrees. We ordered one for our daughter as well. With three little kids, her family was melting. The air conditioners were on our front porch in less than 24 hours from ordering even tho they had to go from east coast to west coast....we are thrilled!Customer Review: Loud!!!

Installation for this AC unit is easy. It's a beautiful unit that works great. Very strong cool breeze even at the lowest setting. However!!! This unit is extremely loud. I have been turning the volume on my TV up because I just couldn't hear at the regular volume.
