The A/C unit arrived damaged. The container was not properly padded at all, so it comes like this from the factory. The metal was bent. We had UPS pick it up and ship it back to Amazon.com. About 10 days later, Amazon refunded the money. I never got to see how the unit works. If they just put a little more care into packaging, I would have a brand new unit and Amazon would have their moeny!Customer Review: Bad experience

The compressor went out the 2nd day of use. decided to have it fixed under Frigidaire warranty. it took a month to get the part. when the repair man replaced the compressor the relay that starts it stuck on. We are still waiting a replacement relay.Customer Review: Busted plug in

When I received this item it had a busted plug in. It is a circut breaker plug in. It was cracked and I don't think it was from the shipping. I cut it off and put on a different plug and it works but it is not the plug in that is suposed to be on it. I wrote Amazon a email about it but did not receive an answer. Got this through Amazon. Amazingly quick delivery even with free delivery option. However your mileage may vary. The unit arrived with stuck fan inside. The fan is made of plastic and to reduce noise they balance it by attaching small metall clips. The clips were attached so poorly, that fan simply stuck after producing a sequence of loud clicks.
I have called the Frigidaire and got a phone of their authorized warranty service provider. There is only one provider in Boston, MA area. Tried to call the company multiple times but was greeted by voice mail. No calls were returned.
Finally I have removed the cover and repaired the fan myself. However it is pretty obvious that people at Frigidaire plant did not ever try to turn the air conditioner on after it was assembled, or even worse - they knowingly packed faulty unit.
Otherwise it is just an average AC with performance and noise level you should expect from window mounted AC.
