I have never been disappointed with these filters. We live in an area in which the water has a funny taste and smell. We only drank bottled water until we bought a refrigerator with water and ice dispenser in the freezer door. These filters take the funny taste and smell right out of the water. They last 2-4 times as long as the packaging suggests...we probably get at least a year out of a filter cartridge. You always know it's time for a filter change when the water gets a hint of sweet taste in it?? Not sure what that is, but I instantly replace the cartridge...takes about 15 seconds, and we're good for another year of clean-tasting water.Customer Review: Not the best or worst

This filter is average at best. I previously owned a GE fridge with a Culligan filter. The water produced by that fridge and filter was superior to the water produced by the Frigidaire fridge with the PureSource filter.Customer Review: Oops, this is a cheap knock-off

Item is not a Frigidaire brand filter, as was advertised. At least the receipt acknowledges that it's a "compatible" replacement. It wouldn't be so bad if they had been honest about it. I probably would have bought it anyway. But I resent being deceived.Customer Review: Perfect

The product works perfectly. I only noticed how much junk this filter takes out of the water when I changed it and saw the discoloration of the filter. I can only assume that it is making my drinking water healthier.
