I purchased the "Good Earth Lighting GL6543-BK-GLI Lincoln Park Tochiere with Opal Glass Diffuser, Black", but it came with a broken bulb. I purchased this replacement bulb and it arrived with lots of package protection and has worked great for months now. It allows for increasing/decreasing light intensity if your lamp can do that, btw.Customer Review: Replaced my ten year old bulbs with these to good effect

These "D" style bulbs are rated to last about six years by GE. I put three fixtures purchased from Home Depot on the ceiling in my basement rec room about 10 years ago. The bulbs were still working but lately everyone noticed the light output had fallen. Even after the bulbs fully warmed up the output was feeble.
Home Depot no longer carries these bulbs so I purchased them from Amazon (none of my neighborhood stores had them, either). What an improvement! The light output from the new bulbs is fantastic. I'm very glad I bought these. Because they are genuine GE they fit my fixtures perfectly. You're paying for the electricity; no point in wasting it on old worn out bulbs.

Bulb arrived broken. We called and were told we'd be sent a replacement. Hasn't arrived, no follow up contact. No refund. Will not use this seller again. Don't recommend
