For the money I would have expected it to have a metal stake for the ground. Stickers are to be stuck on from indoors. Not good if you need to stick them outside for any reason. My stake already broke due to the wind.Customer Review: Cheap garbage.

The plastic stake is pretty flimsy and useless, but if you plan to attach the sign to a post or a wall, it's quite functional and worth the price. You can always use the stake to label the tomatoes in your garden or something...Customer Review: GE Security Sign and Stickers

Bought the GE yard sign and window stickers 3 months ago. I threw the cheap plastic stake away and mounted the yard sign on aluminum flat bar purchased from a local hardware. The only good thing I can say about this system is that the aluminum flat bar is working fine. The south facing window stickers are no longer legible. They have faded to white. The north facing stickers are still legible but fading badly. The east facing yard sign is also fading. This is not acceptable performance for 3 months of winter sun and short days in a northern state. I can't believe GE allows their name to be used on this product. I ordered 2 of these. The wind broke the stick that one of the signs is attached to so I think this is a flimsy product.
