I've switched all my bulbs to CFL. Living in high altitude mountains where temps routinely drop below freezing for 7-8 months of the year, these bulbs have been great. I had the "spiral" CFLs outside and they would start to flicker. I've replaced those w/ these and have flicker free performance all night long outside. Extra bonus is that I'm saving about $12 a month on my electric bill by switching all my bulbs over.
