I ordered two of these two test out the idea of installing motion activated lights in some remote areas of the house. The one that did work was GREAT, everything I dreamed for. One of them was less than awesome, but Amazon rushed me a replacement for it and even had the dud picked up. Aside from some quality control issues (which aren't so much of a big deal when you're getting a free replacement) an excellent value. Will buy again.Customer Review: Best Lamp when works!

I bought this motion-activated night light to keep from triping over the cat in the middle of the night. I wish I could recommend it but the bulb doesn't put out enough light to make it really useful. It puts out a small arc of diffused light about 15 inches. The motion activated feature is a little slow to activate, so I find myself half-way across the room when it comes on. Plus, the light stays on too long for me (90+ seconds). This light is better than nothing, but keep looking for the perfect night light.Customer Review: Better than expected!

I was a wee bit skeptical on how well this item would work. I keep my litter boxes in the basement and don't want to keep a light on all the time for the cats. This would instantly turn on when the cats would approach the litter box area, thus giving them lots of light! I love this product and want to order more!Customer Review: Bright, works as advertised

The light is bright and offers a warm color (i.e. somewhere around 2700*K). The only remaining performance improvement potential would be the ability to rotate the unit in a socket (so it can be installed upright on a horizontal duplex outlet) and some means of adjusting the length of time that the unit shines its light after sensing movement.
