I purchased three of these lights (bedroom, hallway and bathroom) for my 96 yr old Mom with moderate dementia. Had to remove the one by her bedside - too bright! but the one in the hall works very well - hall length approx. 20 feet. The only thing I'd like better is if the light sensed motion from the side. Seems to work very well if approached from the front but there's a delay in lighting up until you get almost in front of it when moving down the hallway. The bathroom light has been WONDERFUL! Faces the hallway and turns on from about 10 feet, illuminating the area very nicely. I would absolutely buy these again. The price is right compared to many I looked at and an effective way of keeping Mom oriented when waking up in the middle of the night! No more trying to find her bathroom via her bedroom closet OR getting "lost" on her way back to bed after her 3am stroll to the kitchen. If I were to replace - I'd try to find ones that stay on a little longer - say 2-3 minutes. Great little product at a great price.Customer Review: Excellent products

Works exactly as described, motion sensor works great and only comes on at night once motion is detected.
I have 4 of these installed in the hallway to my bedroom which used to be dark. Now these lights turn on in a row as I walk down the hallway only to shut off automatically after 60 seconds.
Great product, I'm putting these things all over the house.

The GE 50723 LED Motion Sensing Night Light turns on by detecting motion. I liked the idea so much, I immediately bought 3 of these lights. Unfortunately, one of the three lights was defective, meaning, it wouldn't turn itself on to any motion, or it would light up and stay on. Sometimes its this and sometimes its that. Sort of behaving like it had multiple personalities. Anyhow, I returned this defective light to Amazon.com and they (as always) made the return of defective merchandise so easy and free (which is why I continue to shop with Amazon.com).
Back to the LED Motion Sensing Night Light: I wanted a light that would turn on without me having to search in the dark to find a light switch on the night light. Also, I didn't want a night light that turned on automatically when it got dark and stays all night.
So, a night light that turns itself on automatically by detecting motion was just what I needed from the GE 50723 LED Motion Sensing Night Light. The LED is another bonus because it's supposed to last longer than the Pink Bunny with drums.
I would have given a full star rating for this product if I didn't have to return the defective light, however the ones that do work deserve a full star rating. Why so? Well, you just plug the light into the electrical outlet, wait for it to get dark, and walk in front of it to activate the LED light automatically. There's is no switch to fumble with but the electrical outlet position does make a difference on how well the light activates so keep the scanning area free of boxes, soda cans, glasses, mugs, that might obstruct the lights ability to do its job.
The design is very nice and will easily match your decor. Give it a try.

This light is by far the best sensor motion night lite I've ever used (and I've used several). I already had a couple from several years back, but couldn't find additional ones in the stores. So glad I found them on Amazon! What makes these lights great is that 1)they put out a good amount of light 2)the sensor field is about 180 degrees, so they pick up movement before you are standing directly in front of the light. Terrific product. If I find any other place that needs another light, I'll definitely order more.
