Basically a three pack of what you can get singularly at most hardware/building stores. I got one free based on the price at most stores and on line for singles. Took about seven days to arrive, but not a problem unless your filter broke and you need to replace immediately. You will need to find a place to store the extra filters and remember where when time comes to replace again. A great deal.Customer Review: Water filter

We've been using these filters for many years and they've been great. Sometimes, the tap water here changes and they add more chlorine (the city does warn us ahead of time). I can smell and taste it strongly. The filter does take some of the flavor and scent away, but it's not perfect. I still smell and taste it. Most of the time, the water from this filter tastes fresh and looks as clear as bottled water, and fridge filtered water is pretty much the only water we drink at home.
To make this filter fit our GE refrigerator, we need an adaptor, which we just take from the old filter every time we change filters. No need to buy a new adapter every time.

Does the job and does it well. Filters so that the water has no after-taste. But I see nowhere on the packaging or item itself WHERE it is made and I know GE outsources most of the manufacturing of their products. And I think they're the only company who makes this filter. :(Customer Review: Works like a charm!
