Tools and Hardware Reviews of Gardus D1203615+ D3203612 LintEater System And Extension KitCustomer Review: Everyone needs this! Summary: 5 Stars
What a great product! I bought the basic kit and the extension kit because I have a long run of dryer vent. The vent had never been cleaned in the 17 years since the house was built. I figured I had lint and had been worried about it for a long time, but never knew what to do about it. I thought my only option would be an expensive pro cleaning. Man! I would have never imagined that we would suck so much lint out of that vent. Well worth every penny!
Customer Review: Excellent product!! Summary: 5 Stars
Works as described, easy to use; had no idea my vents were that dirty; drying time dropped 33%-50%.
Customer Review: Excellent! Summary: 5 Stars
This product works great. I would recommend it to anyone. I bought the extension because I have a long dryer vent with three 90 degree angles. Needless to say I was a little worried that it wouldn't make all the turns. It worked like a champ. The company I called wanted $200 to clean my vents. I saved a bundle and can now clean my vent regularly. Very happy indeed!
Customer Review: Expensive but works as advertised Summary: 4 Stars
While I thought the price was a little steep, the system worked very well as advertised. I used it at my parent's home and their drying time went from just over two hours to 50 minutes for a load of clothes. Unfortunately it was so plugged that the vacuum attachment couldn't suck the lint out and I had to dig it out onto the floor. Luckily the system's blockage removal tool performed well and I was able to chew through the mass of lint. Overall I would say the system was worth the price and definately performed satisfactory. It should pay for itself with the reduced drying times.
Customer Review: Fixed my dryer, saved electricity Summary: 5 Stars
I have a dryer vent line that is about 30 ft long. Even with the 25 feet of extension rods, this thing wasn't long enough to go all the way through it. I had to insert it from both ends of the line. While this took double the time, this device did exactly what it was supposed to do, clean my vent line. Some words of advice, you need a good shop vac to hook up to the opposite end of the vent from the end you are inserting the lint eater. Follow the directions, especially the part about not reversing your drill, as it will unscrew the connecting rods, leaving them inside your vent line.
The results of a clean line are much quicker drying times, and lower electric bills. Very noticable, too.
