This is product is great!!!! My dryer vent goes up two stories to the roof and it was unbelievable the lint that was clogged up there. It was taking me up to three cycles to dry clothes. From other reviews I thought I would need a drill to use this product, but we just turned it with our hands. The little metal claw was very helpful in unclogging all the lint. Another reviewer wrote to be sure & turn in the same direction so the extensions don't come apart, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT so they don't unscrew and come apart up in the vent.
I thought this item was pricey, but when the chimney guy wanted $115 to unclog my vent just one time, this item looked like a deal. And it was. Now I will have this Linteater System to use every six months to a year. Absolutely GREAT PRODUCT!!!!

There are very FEW products that I have seen in my lifetime that do exactly what they say they will do, much less do it better. I bought this kit based upon others reviews. It was a good thing that I bought the extension kit as well, not knowing how long my dryer exhaust system was. Well, it was a very good thing that I did, because it turned out to be 24 feet long--exactly what the kit and extension could reach. I followed the directions exactly, including putting duct tape around the joints in case I inadvertently reversed the drill instead of keeping it moving forward and pulling back on the drill to withdraw the device and extensions. I didn't do that, but it gave me piece of mind in using the kit since they had even thought of this. Surprisingly, the kit worked perfectly and exactly how they instructed you to use it. I got a HUGE bag of lint out of the pipes--and I mean HUGE. I didn't know that I even had a problem before, except my old dryer didn't dry very well. No wonder. It was when I got a new Bosch dryer that has a sensor on it that stops it if the pipe is clogged, to prevent lint fires. It just stops and gives you the error code for the problem. Brilliant!! After unclogging the pipes, which took all of about 10 minutes for the 24 feet, dryer problem over. Every homeowner with any amount of piping to exhaust their dryer should own one of these, both to prevent lint fires and to keep their dryer working efficiently and giving it a long life.Customer Review: Good but limited.

Not flexible enough to go through all the right angles. We had to take the pipes down to be cleaned, but it did do a good job of cleaning them out. Then we put the pipes back up. However, the dryer is working like new again. There wasn't a lot of build-up either, which underscores the importance of keeping the lines clean. A load of whites went from 90 minutes to 60 minutes post cleaning, the same amount of time when the dryer was new.Customer Review: Grace Forward

I am VERY pleased with LintEater System and Extension Kit. I had never cleaned my dry vent system---only the dryer opening itself and the hose from the dryer to the wall.
I was prompted to buy LintEater because my dryer was taking too long to dry my clothes. I almost bought a new dryer but decided to give LintEater a try. I am so glad that I did. I removed a full plastic grocery bag of lint from the system, cleaning the line from the outside and from the inside. Now my dryer functions as well as it did when the house was first built 19 years ago.

This product stands out as one that does a superior job at achieving its stated purpose. Not only did it nicely clean out the vent pipe, but the inclusion of a separate brush for cleaning down inside the dryer lint trap was a pleasant surprise. The flexibility of the extension rods simplified the process.
This is a well-designed and constructed product.
