Tools and Hardware Reviews of Gardus RLE202 LintEater 10-Piece Rotary Dryer Vent Cleaning SystemCustomer Review: Amazing Summary: 5 Stars
This worked incredibly. Looking in the vent, it didn't look too bad but I was amazed at the amount of lint it pulled out.

I have a 12' exhasut running along my basement and I was amazed at the lint that was removed. Two things I did not like were that the vaccum attachment did not fit my exhaust vent so i just used the lint eater then turned the dryer on and the lint came out the exhaust. Also I have a 90 deg bend right behing the dyer and the lint eater would not make the bend so i just went from the outside in and it seemed to work. The clothes dry faster.

This product is the real deal. It works just as advertised and the amount of lint that came out of my 10 year old dryer vent was amazing. My DeWalt 18V drill spun the brush with no problems and the brush does an excellent job of self-feeding itself. The shop vac attachment for the dryer is designed for a larger sized hose than my vac has so I sealed my hose to the attachment with duct tape and the vac did a great job of reverse flowing lint out as the brush was operating....watch out for that first blast of lint blowing out on your first pass. The included length of rods was just enough to reach my dryer. I've ordered and received the extension kit to clean my parents' dryer. I highly recommend the cleaning kit and it'll be part of my home's yearly maintenance. Get one and you may just prevent a fire with it.

Bought this after I replaced 1 dryer and the new one wasnt drying very well. My dryer now works great. Very easy to use.
Customer Review: Beware! Summary: 5 Stars
If you're looking at the Gardus #R-1203615, it claims to come with Five 36 inch rods, well it doesn't. this product has been discontinued and has been replaced by # RLE202 that only comes with Four 36 inch rods. I have a newer home where the duct goes straight up through the roof so I needed that extra rod and 15 feet of reach was the reason I bought this unit over another. But they do however offer more rods seperately... at an additional cost.
