This product worked well. I have a longer than usual distance from my dryer to the outside vent. This product enable me to 'snake' through the vent system [twists and turns included]. Seller did not communicate that they received my order or that it had been shipped; however, it did arrive on the very last day of the delivery time window, which in my experience is not common. Usually, I receive my merchandise several days before the last day, but the package arrived in good shape.
The product itself worked well and did what the manufacturer claimed it would do. It was also easy to use. We had much more lint in our dryer vent system than I could have imagined.....now we only have to run our dryer once versus twice to get our clothes completely dry.

The rods are not flexable enough to get the job done. I have two 90 degree bends to overcome. It got the pipe clean but is was a hassle.I don't think I will use it again.Customer Review: Dryer fire preventor

We could hardly wait to receive this product. Our neighbors hired a contractor to clean out their dryer vent and this is the product that he used. It wasn't complicated at all. We also bought the extension rods to go with it as we have a pretty long run from the dryer to the outside vent. It worked well. I was a bit afraid that it might come unsnapped deep in the vent, but it did not. It pulled out a tremendous amount of lint and debris from the vent. It sped up the drying time and has saved us money in electric bills. The greatest peace of mind that it has given us is to know that it helps to prevent dryer fires. Safety is our number one goal. Our only draw back with the product itself was that the first few attempts when you would press the button on the drill is that it would easily twist up on itself. We remedied it by stepping further back with the drill and walking backward with the drill as each section length came out of the vent. You will need a pretty long extension cord and a two man operation to do this the way we did it. I would also have to recommend either running the shop vac attachment along with it or purchasing the mesh bag attachment. We found that we had so much lint and debris built up that we released back into the air. It was quite messy. The person who is closest to the vent, might want to consider using a mask to fliter out the lint that becomes airborn. Eventhough I cleaned 80% of my dryer vent with a homemade jig, I decided to give this set up a try. All I can say is that I should have gotten this system in the first place and saved hours of work and scraped knuckles. I started from the outside and slowly worked my way in. Before I knew it, my son who was on the other end with the vacuum cleaner, told me the brush head was visible! I was done in less than 10 minutes. I highly recommend this product. I got the extension kit to reach the entire duct from one side.
