Got this knife on a whim (needed some Xmas stocking stuffers). The salesgirl looked at it and said "It's cute." My kids said the same thing...

What it is, is nicely sharp, 440 blade, super slim. It seems a bit flimsy, but this is a small fine cutter, and works great if you want something very unobtrusive to carry around. (Time will tell if it holds up as well as my LSTs, my at-hand small utility cutters which I've had for decades.)

Two complaints: The frame lock does this odd "step" thing where it slides part-way over when the blade opens, but then all the way over to the opposite scale as soon as you grip hard. It's a strong lockup, but really hard to undo as the lock is flush with the scales--needs two hands. I risked removing a bit of steel from the non-lock scale to partially expose the lock, and it works better now.

Second: the cut-out in the blade is small, sits very close to the scales when closed, and is very sharp-edged. (When I bought it, I noticed whitish flakes in the hole that I quickly realized were handy DNA samples from anyone else that handled it--it shaves bits off your nails.) Very hard to open one-handed (and bad on the manicure if you care about such things). I may do some polishing here in the future if it continues to bother me.

Still, it's a cool, useful and cheap little knife with a good fine blade.
