The light is well made and offers a good addition my hunting pack. The tracking light uses colored lights to highlight red. It works but does highlight red leaves as well as blood. I have found that if I use the tracking light too long my eyes seem to function poorly so i switch between the white light and the tracking light often.Customer Review: I'll Have a Blood Light!

Move over Sherlock Holmes! There's a new guy in town! I can follow a blood trail easily using this tracking device! I am impressed by the way it highlights red. Lightweight with a handy wrist strap this won't be cumbersome to carry. Both lights are bright. I can see how this will be an enormous help in tracking your target and in bringing it back out. Along with using my Petzl Tikka Plus 4-LED Headlamp I should have no problem tracking.
My brother had mentioned that he has used peroxide mixed with food coloring in a spray bottle. When the liquid hits the blood it will bubble up. So if you can't get this today try using his method. Now that he has seen this he said his spray bottle days are over. Happy Hunting! ~ The Boss
