As a fan of Bear Grylls, I could not pass up this knife at a great price. Gerber has a reputation for quality, too. I did not see the blade length listed anywhere in the copy, but the video showing Grylls with it gave me a good idea as to the size: 3.5".
The knife arrived, and I am very pleased. The blade is of high quality and the handle is indeed 'grippy." The knife has a good weight to it, too. It needs a little sharpening, but a nice feel and it is now my new pocket knife. The carrying case is just fine, too.
