Talk about a skeptic who quickly changed a preset mind. I did not believe the writeup. I was wrong. After installation ( I added 2 additional wood screws for safety purposes.) I found a product that met and exceeded every demand I could put forth. It handles a full sized bike with ease. The old man trying to hang it did so with ease. Shucks, if you can lift a bike you can use this device. I located it in an out of the way spot in the garage and boom a new space saver for an already cluttered space. Curiosity demanded that I check to see if it would handle other items. A 6' step ladder worked well. My gas powered weedeater worked well. It is so simple that it seems childlike but believe me it is anything but super. One oh by the way thought: I have never encountered packaging such as this one had. It was a designer's dream. When you buy one you'll see. I plan to add at least one or two more to use for other items such as another bike or some tools that would be better hanging rather than sitting.Customer Review: Fantastic Space Saving little thing

This is an spectacular little thing that makes your life a lot better!!!
I'm not and expert... by any means but i can tell you this is the most practical thing i've ever bought for my garage after the car of course...
Simply to install, very light weight but it can handle a lot of weight, not to mentio how easy it is to use... even a person like me can useit without even reading the manual... :-)
Not sure what should be the PROs oppinion but if you're not a PRO you'll be pleased with what this hanger can achieve in terms of space saving and practicality.

This just arrived a couple hours ago and DH installed without problem. We have regular bikes AND a tandem two-person bike. We also have regular bike racks including one highly ranked lift system that sells here on Amazon for much less. Unfortunately, the tandem bike is a bit heavy and very cumbersome so I'm never able to navigate it on my own. Problem solved - this is easy to use, takes less space, doesn't have annoying ropes hanging down to get tangled and is GREAT for those with a smaller build that find regular bike racks hard to manage. This is really very ingenious - works great and well worth the extra cash. Seems to be built well and I would expect it to last. I should mention, we have a higher than average ceiling in the garage so it makes a difference when it comes to bike racks...stellar product that I'm very impressed with! Now if they would put it on sale so I can buy another - the old bike racks will be donated.Customer Review: Gladiator Bike hanger

Was intrigued by the claw add in a magazine and checked the company website. Decided to search Amazon and found a much better price. We are thrilled with how easy it was to install and how easy it is to use. Highly recommend this for convenient bike storage.
