Our lights were defective (about 2 feet didn't light up) so we returned them to Amazon and reordered the same item. We have not received the replacement but the look was great and we loved the fact that the rope was long enough to prevent having to add extentions. I searched all over my fair city for a week trying to find this item. I probably burned $20 in gas on this singular mission. Why didn't I just go to amazon in the first place?
The lights look great on my deck. We've been partying out there every night since I put them up.

After spending an hour or so to put the (extremely small and hard to work with)clips onto my deck rail I plugged the lights in only to reveal that the middle section of lighting did not work. It was too late to return product as it was for an outdoor party so I had to cover up the unlit area with a banner. Kind of expensive also...found 18ft of lighting at Big Lot for 5.99 ( and they all work!) Dissapointed!Customer Review: So far so good

I've had the lights up outdoors for about a month. It's held up to some cold weather and high winds. In addition to the plastic mounting clips provided, I did reinforce the lights with insulated electrical staples. So far I'm happy with the product for the price I paid.
