Tools and Hardware Reviews of Gorilla Glue 50004 Adhesive, 4-OuncesCustomer Review: Better Than Superglue! Summary: 5 Stars
Much better than superglue you buy at the grocery store!
To get it open you'll need a sharp pair of scissors or good knife as you have to cut the tip off then put the cap (on the side) on top. And a tip to make it last longer, when finished squeeze the bottle until the glue is almost at the tip (to get the air out), then put the top on. Then put the entire bottle into a ziplock bag so to keep all the air out as the air will try it up.
Customer Review: Can't be beat for ceramic and brick Summary: 5 Stars
Repairman we had used Gorilla glue to adhere a piece of ceramic tile for our backsplash behind the sink. It's holding fine after 3 months now. On his way out the door I asked him if it could be used outside and he said yes. Reason I asked was I had a brick from a low brick wall that had become completely loose. He grabbed the loose brick, wiped the dirt off it with his hands, put a few drops of Gorilla glue on it and pressed it in place. This was in the middle of winter. I checked it a few months later and was amazed that it held. I gave it a couple of kicks and it wouldn't budge. No fancy surface prep at all. It's good stuff.
Customer Review: FIVE Things you should know! Summary: 3 Stars
1) Elmers "Ultimate High Performance" is also a Polyurethane glue and it's as good as Gorilla (As far as I can tell) but cheaper. also used the PL brand glue and can't tell any notable difference between the three. Have not used Sumo and from what I understand it sets up faster and as a result apparently has a much more limited shelf life (this is generally not a good thing - see item #2)
2) This has a limited shelf life and you probably don't need as much as you think. PU glue foams up and you use a LOT less than other types of glue. 4 oz should be more than enough for most people, 8 oz is a BIG bottle - I can't even imagine buying the 16 oz bottle. PU Glues suck moisture out of the air so unless you plan on using it up within a year or two, a LOT is going to go to waste. Don't ask me how I know this.
3) PU Glue is FANTASTIC for lots of things but woodworking glues are still better for woodworking. They are stronger and you can't clean PU glues up with water the way you can even with the waterproof Titebond products. Also if you use biscuits you will have to moisten them separately to get them to swell.
4) KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN AND ANIMALS! PU glue is waterproof and will swell and harden inside the digestive tract creating a blockage. There is NO antidote and surgery is typically the only solution. There have been MANY cases - just search Google "Dog Gorilla Glue" Wear gloves (rubber or vinyl) and use lots of wax paper.
5) Aliphatic wood glues (Like Titebond II) are still better for wood to wood bonding. Fine Woodworking did a test (Issue #192) and found Polyurethane glues to be about half as strong.

Is very strong. Seems to hold very heavy items in place very well. Also, holds small items as well. Needs a better delivery system as well.
