I bought this to use as a make-shift storage system for my husband's t-shirts. It took me all of five minutes to put the unit together straight out of the box. I couldn't guess how it would work with heavier fair, but it works perfectly for what I had in mind. It's compact and doesn't take up much room in our bedroom, but it's big enough to fit 40+ folded shirts on the bottom three shelves. The only thing I'd mention, like one of the previous reviewers, is because I didn't do the math, the shelf was a little smaller than what I expected. These shelves do what they are supposed to - save space in a cramped apartment and is perfect for me. I have stashed quite a few clothes in there and it looks quite strong. Besides, there are very few components to put together and you have a stack of shelves in under 5 mins. The picture can a little misleading in terms of the size and therefore, make sure the dimensions of the product fit your needs before buying.Customer Review: excellent product

It was inexpensive, arrived quickly, was easy to put together, is very sturdy and looks nice. And it solved the problem I was having. That's a 5-star product.
