This lamp is absolutely horrendous. Don't waste your time with this product. First, this lamp flickers. I've learned to deal with the flickering by turning it on and off a few times before it no longer flickers. After a few weeks of using this product, I heard a loud pop right before the lamp no longer worked and assumed it was the light bulb. After buying a replacement bulb, the lamp still didn't work. The product has a 2-year warranty, so I called the company and they immediately knew what was wrong with it. They sent me a replacement part and a very simplistic diagram on how to fix it. Unfortunately, I am unable to remove the old part to replace it with the new part (and I am an Electrical Engineering major). I called the company again to ask how to remove the old part and the tech (a guy with a thick accent) told me to go out and buy my own wire connectors. This isn't warranty if I have to spend money to fix it. Long story short, this product is crap so don't waste your time. It will break down on you guaranteed. This has happened to many other people (that is why they knew what was wrong with the product when I called without even describing it).Customer Review: Transformer died

I loved this lamp until it stopped working after 8 months of use. I bought a new bulb which didn't help, so I called the Grandrich company. They told me that it was probably the transformer and they would send me a free replacement. It turned out to be very complicated to install, so after a struggle, I gave up and bought a new lamp as it was simply not worth the time and effort involved. I find it greatly disappointing that it lasted for such a short time, and I would not recommend.Customer Review: Very bright and useful!

My wife and I each use one of these lamps at our computers. The light thrown by it is very easy on the eyes, and takes the strain out of reading and computer work. It does affect our mood in a positive way, too. It seems well built and has some weight to it. We have been using them for 5 or 6 weeks now.Customer Review: Very nice.

As other people has said, the design leaves room for improvement, but still it is great lamp. White light and very bright. I really like lt.
