I ordered two of these for my Wife and I. Both arrived and one was broken out of the box. As soon as I plugged in the battery pack, it made a loud noise like a baby crying. I called the company and they said they would send me a replacement. 3 weeks later....still waiting. I called them back and they said they were on back-order and could not tell me how long it would take. I decided to order another one (Number 3) and then when the replacement came I would use that for my other home. I was so excited when number 3 arrived...but alas...it does not work either!!! Putting in the correct code does not open the door, I have to use the key to open the door which defeats the purpose. I think the idea is great, but seriously, I purchased 3 safes....over $300 and only one of them works. Who knows how long I will wait for the replacements of number 2 and 3.
Great idea,,,but this company really needs to do something about their manufacturing and quality assurance!!

Outside of the safe is constructed of 16-gauge steel, while soft foam on the inside protects valuables. High-strength lock mechanism performs reliably. Precise fittings virtually inpossible to pry open with hand tools. Built-in computer blocks access after repeated invalid keypad entries and audio feedback confirms each correct keypad entry. Tamper indicator, unique No-Eyes Keypad allows for quick acess. Audio disable option adds security of operating in silent mode. Motion detector with audio alarm helps guard against direct tampering.
