Well, I didn't realize there were two types of safe, with identical sku numbers. there is a 4 push button safe, and a biometric safe. of each, there is the regular and deluxe. In a nutshell, there are 4 types. Anyway, I thought I was buying the biometric safe, but instead I bought the 4 push button. Before returning, I played around with it and realize, I prefer this one. Its a great safe. Inside is well insulated. Predrilled holes for mounting on bottom, back and side. you can plug in the unit to power and also battery. you must use the battery, cause if you take the power out and plug back in, the unit will reset to default code. Once the battery is in, it uses outlet power and keeps memory with the battery. The deluxe version brags of a light inside the safe.. Total crap.. lights sucks. But I don't care for that anyway. Construction is rugged and strong, safe is well built. Ohh, it even has a funny alarm, once arm if someone messes with it it'll go off.. the horn is pretty annoying....

Outside of the safe is constructed of 16-gauge steel, while soft foam on the inside protects valuables. High-strength lock mechanism performs reliably. Precise fittings virtually inpossible to pry open with hand tools. Built-in computer blocks access after repeated invalid keypad entries and audio feedback confirms each correct keypad entry. Tamper indicator, unique No-Eyes Keypad allows for quick acess. Audio disable option adds security of operating in silent mode. Motion detector with audio alarm helps guard against direct tampering. Audio low battery warning helps guard against unexpected power loss. Interior courtesy light, power connection jack for external AC or DC power supply.Tools and Hardware
