I do animal rescue, I frequently have animals come in who have accidents. My foster kittens tend to 'paw paint' with their used kitty litter. I also have fostered animals with highly communicable diseases. I have several cleaning tool that use harsh chemicals and never seem to get the job done. I want a cleaning tool that is easy to use, very effective and is safe for the environment.
I am very impressed with the Haan steam cleaning system. The upright is easy to use and very quick to warm up. For extra tough spots I find I can leave the upright over the spot and the steam works through the spot without harming my floor. I didn't have high hopes for the hand held and I am shocked at how well it works. It cuts through grime I couldn't get any cleaner to remove. It also cleans the grout very well, I was amazed when the grout seemed to change color because all of the dirt had come out. Both products are almost silent which is very good when you have animals scared of the vacuum.
I think this product is excellent for anyone with animals or kids!

After ordering and using the *other* steam cleaners on the market and each lasting less than 6 months, I was reluctant to give this product a try.
Shipping time was great, it actually arrived 2 days before the expected date of delivery. It was packaged very well. No dammage to the boxes at all.
What I like about this package deal is that you have a dedicated mop, and a hand held unit seperatly. Personally I like to have one heating while using the other until it runs out of steam.
The mop is great, and as mentioned by other reviews it does leave a film on your floor the first few times you use it. That it nothing more than a buildup from other cleaners and DOES go away after a few cleanings. Once you get a handle on your floors the shine comes back to them and they are cleaner than ever.
The handheld makes cleaning fun and fast, even our teen son enjoys cleaning now! Thats saying a lot.
So far we have cleaned our bathrooms, our central air unit, our coffee maker, and a big rig with the handheld. All with excellent results. The whole family gets into cleaning using the HAAN.

I bought this product based on reading many reviews here. I am so glad that I have it now! It makes my life so much easier with a large, drooling dog and two kittens who can mess up floors even faster than my husband can. Yes, you have to scrub a little on the stubborn spots, but it really is amazing that I can clean my large area quickly and with only 2 - 3 cups of water. I used to have to fill my 3-gallon bucket two or three times to clean the same space. This is a product that I would highly recommend.Customer Review: For the unlucky

For those who have had good luck with this product, good for them. For me, I was not so lucky. I bought the deluxe upright steamer plus the personal handheld steamer. Both seemed to blow steam just fine, but neither really did anything to clean the floor. With the upright floor cleaner, the handle came apart at the joint that allows you to adjust the height. Once it came apart it wouldn't go back together.
To return the machines the company's return policy states that there is a possible restocking charge up to 25% depending on the wear and tear or any possible damages. Not only is there a restocking fee, but to send it back the customer pays for the shipping costs. The cost for me to send both machines back using UPS Ground was around $24.
