Tools and Hardware Reviews of HAAN Deluxe Total Steam Cleaning System - Includes FS20+ and HS20Customer Review: Great cleaning machine....I wish I had purchased it earlier. Summary: 5 Stars
I totally loved this product. It is compact, efficient and an unbelievable cleaner. I used it on my windows which were really badly soiled with smoke. It was squeaky clean after I used this little machine.. It would take me at least three times longer if I would use any window cleaning chemicals. I used the floor one on the bathroom tiles (wall and floor). It did a great job on both. I used it to sanitize my chair. The steam is hot enough to kill all the germs. You have to be careful though while using, you can get burnt:)
I would definitely recommend this product. I would not believe if I didn't see with my own eyes.
Customer Review: Great handheld, OK mop Summary: 4 Stars
The Haan floor sanitizer doesn't seem to do nearly as good a job as the hand held cleaner at busting through spots of gunk on the floor, but the hand held steamer is fantastic. The hand held one is light and easy to use. It cleaned the rough grout in my kitchen and bathroom about 10x faster than I can do by hand with a scrubber and bleach, plus no chemicals to worry about or smell. Plus, I can use the hand held to steam the wrinkles out of garments.
I do like that the floor steamer is detachable from its pole so you can use it on couches and other flat surfaces and that the steam does not have to travel through a hose (this makes it cool too much to be valuable). The attachments for both the mop and the hand-held are numerous and easy to use. Both have nice long cords and the cloths are super easy to wash.
All in all, I think it was good value and I plan to them both quite often.
Customer Review: Great product. Exceeds my expectations Summary: 5 Stars
After years of searching for a floor cleaner that is easy to use and not messy I found the Haans. I got the Deluxe Total Home Cleaning System and I could not be happier. It easy to use, lightweight and does not soak the floor with excess steam like my old steam cleaner. Just a tip-At first I was reluctant about the floor cleaner because when you first use the steam cleaner on tile all the residue from previous floor soaps come up creating a white film. I did not know what to make of that-talk about getting everything out of the tile. It really did. I cleaned the floor with vinegar and warm water to get all the soap off the floor. Thank goodness that only needed to be done once. It was worth it. Since then my floor is amazing. I can walk in my house with socks and they do not get grungy. I also use the floor steamer on my hardwood floors. For years my cherry floors always showed every smudge and foot print. I began over the years to hate my floors. What I found out was it was not my floors, it was the cleaners. Just like the tile the first time you clean the wood it may look dull. What I found is that as I continued to clean the floor with the Haan Steam floor cleaner my floors no longer show all the smudges and foot prints. The little cleaning system is great also. I use it to clean everything from the bathroom, base boards, grit and build up in the corners, stainless steel, windows to the tracks on my sliding glass doors. It is also awesome on flat stove tops. I love it. Not only is it a great product but I have saved so much money not buying cleaners (floor cleaner, wood cleaner, shower cleaner etc... It is a savings of about $28-35 a month. I never thought going green would be easy.
Customer Review: Great system! Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this system a few months ago because we were moving into a brand new house. I have two small children and didn't want tons of cleaning products around for them to get into and be used around them. I tend to be a clean freak and clean a lot!
I absolutely love the floor mop! I have hard wood and cork floors throughout the downstairs and once I use this on them they look amazing! I can do the whole downstairs with one pad and it doesn't leave streaks. There are two downsides to it though. It won't stand upright without leaning it against the wall and the cord is pretty short so you have to get crafty when trying to figure out how you're going to clean the whole downstairs. I know I can use an extension cord, but I haven't done that yet.
The handheld steamer is pretty cool too. I haven't used all the attachments yet, but once summer gets here, I'm sure I will. I've used the little nozzle for cleaning the toilets and faucets. Works great. I've used the upholstery attachment for cleaning pillows, mattresses, and our ottomans. I love it. The only downside is, sometimes when you first use it, it puts out a ton of steam and gets kind of crazy with getting things soaked. It does take a bit to regenerate steam, but the orange light lets you know when it's ready which is nice. I also used it to get the wrinkles out of our new shower curtains. Way better than having to iron them out and it took about 5 minutes even having to wait for the steam to build up.
Overall, I love the whole system and I'm probably going to buy one for my friend when she moves into her new house!
Customer Review: Haan Deluxe Steam Mop Summary: 3 Stars
The actual mop isnt bad however the handheld steamer is a waste! I wish I had just purchased the mop itself....The handheld is a joke. There's no way that it reaches over 200 degrees. Don't waste your money on the kit. The mop is 110% better than the swifter and just as easy to use. I would recommend the mop to all of my friends.
