The Universal Base instructions are clear and easy to follow. Photographs or drawings would make it even better but assembly was not a problem. It is a good choice to negate the wheel problems on my Powermatic 2000 Table Saw. It should work for most heavy items that need to be mobile. Installation on the Powermatic can be a bother for one person since the saw weighs 540 lbs. To install first raise the saw on the broken wheels as high as possible. Slide the corners of the mobile base under the corners of the saw. Attach the sides by carefully holding a nut between the saw and the side (not much space available there so finger dexterity is required). When all four sides are attached, lower the wheels such that the saw is resting on the mobile base.
Even with this process, some assistance may be required.
OR: Assemble the base and find four strong people with good backs to lift up the saw and set it on the base.

With the HTC-3000 Heavy-Duty Adjustable Mobile Base, size is no longer an issue. Fully adjustable mobile base features side rails and corner pieces with holes spaced every 1 inch to insure the perfect fit for your machine. Rather than lifting the machine to lock it in place this base uses wheel locks on the fixed wheel end, and leveling locks which lower to the floor on the steering end.
