I had an early model of the Eureka and eventually gave it up because it spat like a locomotive, leaked a lot and had to be refilled too often. Also I found the cloth fastening device too fiddly and when eventually one fell off I was glad to let it go. I am so happy with the Haan! It is so quiet, and the steam so focused, I had to check to see whether it was even working. It's like driving a Prius. The tank lasts forever. My wood kitchen and hallway floors are so clean, I'm actually happy to get it out! The first time I used it, it easily removed a dark traffic area that was just ingrained and I assumed would never lift. There is no dampness left behind. One tank covers my entire ground floor. The Haan is lightweight and quick to get in and out of the cleaning closet without feeling like there is a huge project ahead. Even the way the cloth attaches with a velcro-type grip makes it a simple job that you don't have to bend over to do. There is really nothing bad to say. After reviewing over 20 different steam mops/cleaners for hard floors, I chose this one. I am EXTREMELY pleased!! I wasn't home when it arrived, but my husband was and as soon as it came he took it out and cleaned all our hard wood floors, and master bath. He said mopping is alot more fun now and will do it more often. We have 2 large dogs (black lab. and bullmastiff) so we always have dried on slobber/drool spots on our wood floors and the the steam mop picks it right up without leaving ANY water behind. Just make sure you go slow and use a fresh pad. Once you start to notice water left on the floor - just change out the pad to a fresh one and that will solve the problem. On othe reviews I read the 19' cord isn't long enough, but I think its plenty. I have a very simple solution and its called an extention cord if you need it. All in all, Haan steam cleaner is awesome all around and can use it on our main floor without refilling the water. Even though it came with a carpet attachment tray I personally don't believe it will do anything compared to a true carpet cleaner. We got this specifically for our hard floors, not carpet. I suggest if you want a capret cleaner, don't cut corners and get this because this does not deep clean like a cleaner meant for carpets. I hightly recommend!
BTW - pads can get up to 300 washes.

I have a toddler and three dogs. It seems I have tried every product out there for lamenate and tile floors. This mop is the best, it works great on my floors and they have never been cleaner. It is super easy and fast to use. Plus, after use, just throw the pad in the wash and it is ready to go for the next time. I am very happy with this purchase. I have had my mop for about 10 months and there have been no problems it works as well now as it did when I first used it, maybe better as the cleaning pads seem to get better as you wash them.Customer Review: Better than Advertised!!

Okay, so I did A LOT of research to find the BEST steam mop, and the Haan is it.
I have linoleum floors and could never get them clean with my swiffer. I would scrub until my arms hurt, but there were always dirt spots stuck in the grooves of the design.
With 1 pass of the Haan, ALL of the dirt comes up and left my floors looking brand news. Seriously! I am also having a baby this spring and didn't like the idea of chemicals all over my floors. The Haan leaves no chemicals, is green, and leaves the floors cleaner than you can imagine.
I HIGHLY recommend this product for anyone and everyone!

It worked great while it worked. Now I am going to buy the bigger one thats more money. I guess you spend 79 you get 79 dollars worth. Steam worked great while it worked. but on/off button very weak and feels cheap. I had a feeling this item would not last.
