This is a wonderful floor cleaner! I researched several floor steamers, the Haan had the best reviews, I purchased one, and could not wait to use it. This cleaner is so wonderful, not only do I steam clean my laminate wood floors, but I also steam clean my couches. I have been scrubbing floors by hand for years. I have hard wood, laminate, ceramic tile, and carpet in my house. I have not used the product on carpet or upholstery yet, but I was impressed with the simplicity of it and overall performance. With one cup of water, one can clean floors with ease and without bending over, which is always a plus. The reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that I still needed to scrub several spots by hand(mostly dog drool from my 95-pound beggar). Still it is a versatile and lightweight unit, easy to use, and I can say that I am pleased overall.Customer Review: Floor steam cleaner

I have been very pleased with this floor cleaner. I was concerned initially with the length of the cord but it has proven to be long enough for my rooms. Just be sure you follow the instructions about the tilt of the handle otherwise it is very hard to push across the floor.Customer Review: For a Deep Down Clean!

I am not one to write reviews, but with the help of so many of the reviewers' remarks on the many products that I buy, I realized that our ratings are a valuable commodity, so here is mine. I bought the newest Shark Mop Pocket Pro, and loved the way it cleaned, and loved the design. The only problem was, is that I wanted a machine that would sanitize all of my floors, and was built to last. Although the Shark claims to sanitize, it doesn't get hot enough to do so. Also, so many reviewers had horror stories about the Shark not lasting, with many parts breaking, and the added annoyance of horrible customer service, so I returned it. After reading many reviews I wanted the Haan FS20, or the Haan Slim Line, I ended up with the Haan FS20, because I wanted a machine that sanitzes anything it comes in contact with! lol This machine is great!!! I recommend buying the extra short handle, so that you can steam your couches, beds, and even counters! If you have rugs, the sanitizing tray is a must!!!
When my steamer arrived, I just got done bleaching my floors, but couln't wait to try it, so two days later, I mopped my tile kitchen floor, and the hardwood floors in my formal room. I even sanitized my area rugs, beds and couches! I keep a clean house, but I have to say, my house never looked so good!!!
I do agree with the many reviewers that wished the Haan had a bigger resevoir, and longer cord. The machine would be perfect if it did, but all in all, it is a fantastic investment. The water savings alone, will make this mop pay for itself in no time! I used to have to fill my sink with soap three times to wash all of my floors, now I use 3 cups!!! Also, your floors will stay cleaner longer when you use steam, because the dirt doesn't have the residue of the soap to stick to!
I don't recommend the Haan's Steam Scents, that I bought in green apple. I added a few drops to the micro-fiber pad, but it really did not leave an apple scent to the room.
