This steamer does a good job with both floors and carpet. It can be used more for keeping things maintained, rather then overall cleaning. However, the handle was a little cheap and kind of flimsy. I would recommend for the money.Customer Review: Go Green!

The Haan Steam Cleaner w/carpet attachment is fantastic. It's so easy to use, lightweight, and cleans tile floors so clean. I pulled off the pad after it cooled down and there was more dirt than I thought my floors had. I tried the carpet attachment on a greasy footprint that is just in front of my garage door. It cleaned it up pretty good, but I just scrubbed it with a little dawn dish soap to remove any lingering grease. Looks much better, but I'll try it again after it dries. Why didn't I buy this earlier? I'm glad I caught the info commercial. I couldn't stand the smell and sticky floors that the Swifter left behind. Plus, no more filling up my garbage with disposable pads. The Haan pads are washable! I'm going GREEN!Customer Review: Good buy

After reviewing a few of these steam mops I decided on the Haan. It heats up to a higher temp and holds more water than some of the others. I also like that it continuously steams. Its MUCH easier to use than a mop and bucket and really seems to get the floors a lot cleaner than using the swiffer wet jet.
Initially I wasn't too sure about it. It left the floors much more wet than I thought it would, but after working with it for a bit realized that when it begins to do that its time to change the pad. I've also noticed that the cleaner my floors get the less I have to put a new pad on. So it has been very worth it to me to ge the extra microfiber pads. I read a few complaints about the cord holder and cord length. To me its no more different than working with the cord for my vacuum cleaner, you do as much as you can then plug it into a different outlet.
The only thing that I can think of that would make it nicer is to have some kind of pad that gets down into the grout so that would be easier to clean.

This is a great mop, easy to use and it does the job. My only complaint (which is probably true for any steam mop) if you need to get rid of a tough spot, you're not going to be able to get it with the mop.
