I purchased the Haan Steamer and I love it. You can definitely see a difference using it. This is not a mop! This is easier than using a mop and cleans a lot better! What a difference! My only "small" negative is I wish the water compartment was larger because once you start using the steamer you tend to get carried away and figure, "What the heck, I may as well clean the entire house".

If this steam cleaner had continued to work, I would have loved it. However, I bought it 14 months ago, and used it probably less than 15 times. It is now broken - the light won't come on and the on/off button doesn't work - and when I called Haan, because it is over a year old, the choices given to me were 1. buy a refurbished unit for $69 or 2. buy a new one for $99. Since it can't seem to stand up to under 15 uses without breaking (My cleaning company uses the same model and their handle continually broke. Their unit was older than mine, but Haan gladly fixed it for them - apparently I don't have enough buying power to get them to fix mine outside of warranty.), and they aren't interested in helping someone with a practically new unit that stopped working, I will not be buying any Haan product in the future.Customer Review: Best christmas present!

After reviewing over 20 different steam mops/cleaners for hard floors, I chose this one. I am EXTREMELY pleased!! I wasn't home when it arrived, but my husband was and as soon as it came he took it out and cleaned all our hard wood floors, and master bath. He said mopping is alot more fun now and will do it more often. We have 2 large dogs (black lab. and bullmastiff) so we always have dried on slobber/drool spots on our wood floors and the the steam mop picks it right up without leaving ANY water behind. Just make sure you go slow and use a fresh pad. Once you start to notice water left on the floor - just change out the pad to a fresh one and that will solve the problem. On othe reviews I read the 19' cord isn't long enough, but I think its plenty. I have a very simple solution and its called an extention cord if you need it. All in all, Haan steam cleaner is awesome all around and can use it on our main floor without refilling the water. Even though it came with a carpet attachment tray I personally don't believe it will do anything compared to a true carpet cleaner. We got this specifically for our hard floors, not carpet. I suggest if you want a capret cleaner, don't cut corners and get this because this does not deep clean like a cleaner meant for carpets. I hightly recommend!
BTW - pads can get up to 300 washes.

At first we were very happy with this floor mop. Our daughter also had one and liked it. However, be warned that in a year or less of twice a month use, the handle breaks and it becomes useless. An attempt to return then tells you that it expires after thirty days! So, if you have plenty of money to buy this for twenty-four cleaning moments, go for it! If not, buyer beware!
