I love what the Haan Steamer promises, sanitized floors. I have used it twice and was delighted at the cleanliness of my wood, laminate and tile floors. It has the best results for the least amount of effort. I look forward to using it on my carpets. The only thing I would suggest is purchasing extra pads. My Haan came with two and it is recommended that they are washed by hand or in a washing machine on the gentle cycle. I had to use it on 2 consecutive days and now have to wash the pads prior to using again. I also recommend using it with an extension cord to easliy move from one room to another without starting the warm up process again.Customer Review: I love the Haan!

I borrowed my mom's Bissell Steam Mop because she raved about how good it was. It really did clean good, but it left the floor soaking wet! So, I looked at reviews of steam mops on Amazon and found the Haan with better reviews. Well, I can certainly see why! I bought my Haan steam mop, and not only does it clean the floor easily, but I left the room and came back and it was dry! I can't stop mopping! It is soooo much easier than a standard mop. And no more scrubbing! I highly recommend this mop for anyone who is looking for an easier and a BETTER way to clean your floors.Customer Review: Its the best floor cleaner !

This steamer is amazing. I have hardwood floors all through out my house including my kitchen floor. It removes grease stains with ease. It's great to know that my floors are truly clean and beautiful without use of chemicals. I am very pleased with this steamer I LOVE IT.

I initially wanted to purchase the newer model of the Haan steam mop, but I decided to give this one a try because it was cheaper (and because Macy's didn't have the newer one in stock in the store, ha!). I have to say that I am very impressed.
It was super easy to set up and came with very clear directions. It really does heat up and is ready to use in 60 seconds! You can hear it steaming and even see the steam coming out of it after a minute.
The first place I decided to use it was our tile entryway that had all sorts of grime stuck on it. After the first swipe, I knew I loved it. It picked up all the dirt with no problem and I especially loved how you could see it drying right away. There were a few spots that had super stuck on bits which the steamer did not pick up, but all i had to do was lean down and nudge it a little with my fingernail (the steam totally loosened up the muck), and then the next swipe picked it all up. The second place I used it was in our kitchen which has linoleum flooring. It worked exactly the same way. Again, I had to scratch a little at a spot of stuck on marinara sauce, but then it came right up with no problem. The next place I plan to use it is in our bathroom... especially on the floor of the shower.
The microfiber pads that come with it are really nice. I used just one pad to do both the entryway and my kitchen. I did notice toward the end that the floor wasn't drying quite as fast, but I suspect it's because the pad was very wet and I probably should have changed it out. I love that the pads are washable, but I already placed an order on amazon for more because I can see that it would be easy to need more than two in a single house-cleaning session.
It's really cool that this mop only uses water to clean! I HATE the residue that always seems to be left no matter how thoroughly I rinse a floor after mopping it with chemicals. It can be sticky aftwerward and gross to walk on! I researched it pretty thoroughly, and Haan is one of the few manufacturers that actually gets the steam hot enough to kill germs and sanitize the surface. And there's no sticky residue when everything's clean!
I think it's an impressive little tool.. I am not at all inclined to return it for the more expensive newer version because it truly exceeds my expectations.

The Haan Steam cleaner seems to be working well. It picks up dirt after only having to go over it a few times, but spots close to wall or fridge are hard to get, the steams doesnt reach outside of the actual bottom of machine..the cleaning pad is wider but it does not pick up dirt. I was very disappointed that this prodct did not come with the sanitizing tray like the description said. That was the main reason I bought the Haan instead of the other brands of steam cleaners. I did have to order it seperatly, so I paid another twenty dollars for what should have been included.
