I bought similar (cheaper-not this brand) one of these at a local TJ Maxx. It began falling apart after a week of use and the hanger broke. I looked around and found this one and read the the reviews on Amazon, so I ordered it.
It arrived quickly and looked fine. The construction of this one seemed slightly better, especially the hanger part at first glance. I began the process or organizing my jewelry (I'm a beader and have a lot of handmade jewelry). It did not begin well as one compartment seam closure was stitched across the zipper teeth and the zipper head caught was on the 'wrong side' of the seam and I could not open that compartment as the zipper head could not glide over the stitch. Okay, small problem and I saw if I could remove that stitch, I would be able to slide the zipper head past the stitch in the zipper. I had a pair of sharp, tiny scissors and was able to clip the stitch to clear it from the zipper guide itself. It worked and the zipper head glide was able to slide and I could unzip that compartment. Fine, not happy but I could work with that.
I began resorting my jewelry, again. I was on the next to the last row of compartments adding jewelry to the zipped pockets. I unzipped the row of pockets and the zipper came off of the end. It has two zippers per long row so I wondered if I could get by with just one as returning stuff is a pain and zipped it to see if the one zipper head would close the entire top. Well it also came off the end. The very end edge of the zipper flap was not sewn under the side seam that goes around the perimeter of the bag and thus nothing to stop the zipper heads from just coming off the end of the zipper.
This became a worse fiasco than the TJ Maxx jewelry organizer I had bought. At least it was easy enough to take it back to the store, now I have to contend with the post office during Christmas season to return this one.
Apparently there's not very good quality control with the production of these things and when plastic and zippers are involved the outcome will probably never be optimal. I would not recommend this product nor similar ones.
Edited to add: I contacted the vendor who sold this item through Amazon and had a great experience with them. They did not require that I return it, but simply told me to toss it and they would credit my credit card. This actually made it easier than a store return but still the product was not well constructed and I never got to use it due to the defects.

Wow, I love this way of storing jewelry and I love that each pocket is zippered. I wouldn't have minded more necklace storage, but I'll be ordering another one because apparently I have more items than even I knew. I had so many containers, boxes, etc. that I had no real idea of what I had. So now it's all in one HEAVY hanging organizer. I'll need another one to declutter this 1st one, but I'm very happy to have all my jewelry in one place and each visible in a glance or two.Customer Review: Just what I was looking for

Very functional. I am able to store all of my jewelry and still have slots left over. There are not a whole lot of necklace hangers and the space is not very long, but I was able to hang more than one necklace on each necklace hanger without them tangling. I also put some of the longer necklaces in other slots. I was able to put 2-5 pairs of earrings in each of the small slots and still be able to see what is in there. The zippers, snaps and velcro all work great. When I travel, I just fold the whole thing and lay it in the top of my suitcase. I do wish the organizer hanger swiveled for times that I hang the organizer against a wall/door. But I have not seen any other jewelry organizer that is like this and has zippered pockets.Customer Review: Love this Jewelry Holder

Such a wonderful idea and space saver. I was really getting sick of dealing with jewelry boxes that wouldn't fit everything and then forgetting stuff that I had. Everything has it's own little pocket where it stays clean and you can SEE everything you own. This product makes it much easier to accessorize and this is fairly inexpensive. Will also be great for travelling! I plan on buying a second one for myself and one for my mom.Customer Review: Love this, especially for necklace chains!

Man, I love this thing. I chose this over similar hanging jewelry organizers because this Hagerty version has a large area to hang necklaces. I have half a dozen delicate silver chains that tangle easily on themselves and therefore can't put them in a zippered pocket... each one would just tangle up into a knot. Previously, I'd been leaving them laid out on my bathroom counter and this took up a lot of space and looked cluttered. But this Hagerty organizer has a row of 8 snap-secured loops to hang necklaces on, and since they're between the main pale yellow fabric and the clear vinyl on the outside, the chains don't move, they don't swing and catch onto other chains or anything like that. They stay put. Perfect!
As for other jewelry, I put rings, bracelets, and earrings in this organizer too. Before I had this organizer, I had everything in little ziploc baggies that were then tucked into little jewelry boxes, that were *then* tucked away in drawers. I'd completely forget I had a particular ring or earrings that would've gone perfectly with an outfit. Out of sight, out of mind, you know? Now, my organizer is hanging in my closet next to my clothes, easy to see and everything in its place.
I highly recommend this jewelry keeper!
