This item does what it promises- to deodorize garbage disposals. I found it easy to use and effective. The only caution is that the deodorizing is only temporary, so you will have to repeat periodically.
Description of Harold Import 9010 Plink Garbage Disposal Cleaner and Deodorizer
Run one of these small round balls through the kitchen sink disposal and two things happen: built-up deposits of fat and food particles dissolve away, and a fragrant scent fills the kitchen. Available in either lemon or orange, the set of 10 balls comes neatly arranged in a compact plastic case that stores out of sight under the sink. One or two uses a week is all that's needed to keep the disposer smelling fresh and operating efficiently.
