Over the years, I've tried a lot of things to get the stink out of my garbage disposal. Some of them even work (baking soda, for example), but not one has come close to Plink. These little squishy balls release a powerful lemon smell when first used. The first time I tried one, I was afraid it had just masked the stink, but when the lemon smell dissipated, the bad smell did not return. I have seen these for a long time, but never tried them until now. They work okay. Maybe they clean the disposal better than a cut lemon wedge or two, but the scent can be had for much less money using lemons. And the lemon scent last longer. However, if these disinfect to some degree it may be worth it.
As to shipping, etc. all was perfect as usual form Amazon. For me, I'll save my money and go back to lemons. Again, nothing wrong with it as it does what it says it does, but I just wasnt' impressed.
