I just gave birth to my first child. I specifically ordered these in order to help alleviate being hot during labor. I used them immediately upon arriving at the hospital since the room was dreadfully hot. Such a quick, easy tool to use to relieve being so hot. I continue to use these when I am overheated and even sleep with them around my neck at times. My mom is now ordering a set for herself too!Customer Review: Great for beating the heat

I take a medication that makes me heat intolerant and have trouble enjoying life in the summer, especially the hot, dry summers here in Sacramento. I also get anxious and a fast heart rate. These are a lifesaver. I keep them in the fridge or freezer (the package says not to freeze so do so at own risk) and am able to really get out and do things with my kids without the racing heart and hot face. I use them on my neck and sometimes around my head. I also find them to be fine untied, but have a smaller neck. Tied they are more effective but you get that "archeologist" look. I got the light blue pattern, red bandana and green bandana. I wear the blue the most since it blends with my clothes. I'll wear the red for 4th of July and the green matches my daughter's soccer uniform so I'm OK with those. Great product!Customer Review: Great gift for summer DIY-ers

I ordered these as part of a Father's Day gift for my step-dad and he's raving about it now. He's always out fixing this and that around the ranch in East Texas and these things are giving him a second wind in the stifling summer heat. I got some for myself and they take some (not all!) of the dread of driving around Los Angeles in traffic and doing walking errands during the day.
