I've used other brands of super glue and they all perform pretty much the same. The problem always is how to keep the glue from solidifying before you use it all. The last brand I bought in a large size ended up with half the bottle a solid mass. This was because the design of the dispensing was poor. I was constantly having to repuncture the dispenser because it wouldn't prevent the glue from blocking it when you closed the top. It got so bad I had to snip the tip down several times because I couldn't get the blockage removed.
The Loctite design is far superior. After using it for two months now I haven't had to take a needle to reopen the dispensing spout and no spillage yet. The remaining glue is still as fluid as the day I opened the bottle.
So if you use super glue in large quantities, this Loctite bottle design is just what you are looking for.

This is an excellent super glue...I had purchased a container somewhere and don't remember where so when I ran out of it I just ordered another online and have not opened it yet. It evidently seals good because when I removed the cap after not using it for sometime out came glue. This seems to be the best one I've ever used. The ability to apply only a small amount has to be useful. I just like to have it around. I cannot wait to use it on knots for fishing gear. They don't come apart. For someone who doesn't fish often, this assures me my knots on the line will be secure. One time I fished in Canada 4 days for big fish---super glued my swivel on and came back with the same Mepps #5 that I left home with. It caught many large Northern Pike ( two that went in the record book)....Customer Review: Push the Red Button

So I didn't know I was supposed to squeeze the two red sides to actually get the glue out...
I didn't really read the instructions/cardboard package... lol
Anyways, it is an awesome design. It lets you get the amount you want out, keeps it from getting all over the place, and it won't dry up in the bottle.
The only problem is I used it on some glass, and it dries up opaque-ly, which happens with most super glue.
*I was glueing some cardboard together and it was smoking (melting the pieces together?) o.O

This is a good glue that dries really fast. I used it to fix broken ceramics and they sealed together without a crack showing. The container is absolutely fantastic.

Superglue's biggest problem is the container. It seals itself up or gets a piece of gunk in it. When you squeeze it or poke at it, glue tends to go everywhere. You get it on your fingers and on your desk or bench. Or, worse yet, on your clothes. (did you know superglue on cotton can cause burns or even ignite?)
That's where the Loctite Super Glue does everything right. It might cost more per ounce, but you'll use more per dollar than any other variety of superglue. It doesn't make a mess. It gives you perfect control of just how much you want to use.
The only thing better than this one is the gel. But this one is by far the better bargain.
