Summary: 3 Starsi purchased the Hitachi after reading initial reviews and quickly fell in love with it. After a few weeks of light use it began slipping out of gear and grinding so i replaced it with another thinking the fault was limited to my first. However the second began doing it within a year. And recently when i was replacing some outdoor floodlights i dropped the Hitachi from a one-story heighth into the grass and the hinge broke. It still works but is now taped into a straight, fixed position. This Hitachi screwdriver would be perfect with rigid components, but until then i'll replace with a Dewalt or Bosch.

To start, this screwdriver features a non-slip elastomer-grip handle that makes long jobs more comfortable. Additionally, HXP batteries last three times longer than their competition--these batteries will last approximately 500 charges before needing to be replaced! Overall, less frequent battery charges and longer battery life mean reduced operation costs for you.
