I have since seen a similar product that has a backlit button making it easier to find in the dark.

I love this product! Have two of them, one for the upstairs tree and one for downstairs. It makes it so much easier to turn it on and off, especially once the packages start appearing under the tree and you can't access the plug. These extension cords are fantastic. I connected it to an item that only turns on when plugged in...no on/off switch on this. Using this cord I'm able to turn it on and off when I want. I don't know why stores don't keep these in stock all year. For some reason they seem to think they only sell at Christmas time for the trees. Great product.Customer Review: Only for Christmas lights

This sounded handy for use in my garage but turns out it is only suited for low voltage Christmas lights. So it does what it says, but don't try to use it for anything else. I probably should have read the fine print.
