Customer Review: A GREAT LITTLE HEATER FOR THE MONEY

I bought this heater for my son's room downstairs where he has a large slider that lets in the draft. It kept his whole room warm throughout the night and he is very happy with it. Now he is back at college and I am using underneath my computer desk, which is also downstairs and gets a draft, it warms up the whole area. It does not get super hot, even at the higher temperature, but I find that it is enough. The one downside is that tips over too easily, the base should be wider to totally support it. I'm sure it is fine on a hardwood floor, but I have always used it on a carpet. It does have automatic shut off for safety, but it is annoying to have it fall backwards. I now prop it lightly against something and it is fine. I paid $18 for it at Kmart, and you can't go wrong at that price, but keep in mind the possible "tipping backward" factor!Customer Review: Didn't last a season

I bought this last year at Easter so my wife could stay warm during the snowstorm. I used it the rest of the spring, then this fall I stuck it in the bathroom so I could stay warm without turning up the furnace.
At first, it would run if I left it in the high, or low setting, but no temperature range. Now, it won't even turn on. I bought it at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, so I paid more than Amazon's price, but I wouldn't buy this model again.

I received my HFH105 today, needless to say I was very disappointed in the size, it's very small. But that is my error, I didn't take note of the dimension before ordering. However, this little bundle gives out powerful heat. It really warms a room in less than 5 minutes. As mention in the other reviews it is LOUD...
I think the price should be $5.00-$7.00 for this little heater. That's the only complaint I have is the price. Other than that it's excellent little heater.

First I got one Honeywell surround heater which kind of disappointed me because of the lack of airflow. After a little while I got this and I was happy with this. Keeps my room nice and warm.
Pros:
- Nice heating power.
- 2 heat and 1 fan mode.
- Thermal cut-off (or something like that).
- Good airflow.
Cons:
- No thermostat.
- No tip over protection or other safety features (except one mentioned).
- Little too loud.
- Doesn't seem to stand very sturdy (not good if you have kids around).
Overall this is a good product and I would recommend it.

My son is a college student and shares a house with several other people. The bedrooms do not come equipped with adequate or inexpensive heating. I purchased this for him and it works wonderfully. Keeps his room nice and toasty.
